The IMDb updates are crucial for actors, because adding personal details can increase the likelihood of your profile showing up in search results.
Below, we’re highlighting five key updates you need to know! Make sure your profile is up to date and get ready to be discovered!
1. Add your demographic information to "Personal Details" on IMDbPro, such as ethnicity and gender to help decision-makers discover you in a search
2. Manage how your Personal Details are displayed on IMDb in a new "Self-verified on IMDbPro" section on your IMDb name page
3. Manage how your birthyear is displayed on IMDb and/or IMDbPro
4. Actors can now manage self-submission of an Age-Playing Range to display on your IMDbPro name and in IMDbPro search results in Performer Details
5. If you are ever credited under alternate names, you can now manage how these names are displayed on IMDb
