ABOUT GINNIE LEE

Thank you for visiting the website of Ginnie Lee House.  Ginnie Lee is a 13 year old professional actress, singer and dancer. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.  By the age of 5 she showed a passion for singing and soon after began training and performing at The Atlanta School of the Performing Arts.  Ginnie Lee has appeared in many regional productions.  Favorites include her portrayal of Mary Lennox, “The Secret Garden the Musical" and the title role in " Annie". Ginnie Lee will be forever grateful for the training and support she received in Atlanta from Jennifer Salberg, Barbara Cole-Uterhardt, Sherri Seiden and Robert Edwards. These talented instructors gave her the confidence to pursue her dreams in New York City.
 
In the spring of 2009, Ginnie Lee moved to NYC and under the representation
of Shirley Grant Management, began training and auditioning. She nows studies voice, dance and acting with a variety of NY based instructors including: Trapper Felides, Melissa Perry, Jill Edwards, Janine Molinari,Yuka Kawazu and Thommie Retter.
 
During 2010 Ginnie Lee played Brigitta vonTrapp in The Theater of the Stars National Tour of "The Sound of Music", directed by Norb Joerder. Soon after, she was cast as Annie Who in the North American Tour of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Musical" which was directed by Matt August and choreographed by Bob Richard.
 
Ginnie Lee also has also performed at Joe's Pub (at the Public Theatre) in NYC with Bridget Everett, Trapper Felides and many of New York’s Broadway kids.  

Ginnie Lee moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career in film and television.  She now studies privately and takes regular classes with acting coach Walter Pridgen.
