Actor’s Access Has a New Audition Platform!

Actors Access is behind an effort to change the nature of casting as they introduce “Eco Cast Live”. Eco Cast Live is a service provided exclusively on Actors Access/Breakdown Services that allows you to audition for projects virtually. And, nope … it’s not a self tape!!
When a Casting Director requests to see you via Eco Cast Live, you will receive a link to a private video chat so you can audition for the project LIVE AND IN REAL TIME. Think of it as an exclusive skype or zoom session. This new feature is a huge step forward in the push to reopen the entertainment industry, and to move new projects forward. Since the days of going and auditioning in person after sitting in a crowded waiting room are on hold for the time being, actors need to be ready, willing and able to use these new casting features!
The most important takeaway from the announcement of Eco Cast Live is that every actor needs to be 1000% POSITIVE that their Actors Access Profile is up to date. This means everything from credits to size cards to photos, slateshots and reels. With everything being online, Casting Directors will be making decisions on who to see based solely off of profiles.
